Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic

JUNIOR INVITATIONAL

presented by Hilton Head Island

In 2019, GATC introduced the Junior Invitational to help promote the next generation by giving juniors matches on some of the world’s best grass courts. The Junior Invitational has had a reputable list of players that have gone on to be successful or are just getting started in their professional careers.

Most notably, current world No. 3, Carlos Alcaraz, participated in the first edition of the Junior Invitational in 2019. Since then he has gone on to win two Grand Slams and five Masters 1000 events. After his win at the 2022 US Open, Alcaraz reached the coveted No. 1 ranking, making him the youngest man and first teenager in the Open Era to do so.

Other notable players were Darwin Blanch (2023), Renata Jamrichova (2023), Hannah Klugman (2023), Linda Fruhvirtova (2019), Liv Hovde (2022) and Leo Borg (2019).
