The King Returns: Novak Djokovic to Compete in the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic

23 June 2025

LONDON (23rd June 2025): Olympic Gold medalist and 24-Grand Slam singles titles record holder Novak Djokovic will return to the grass courts of the Hurlingham Club for this year’s Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic. Newly confirmed additions to the lineup include World No. 131 Christopher Eubanks and former World No. 3 Marin Čilić. They join a strong roster featuring Jack Draper, Frances Tiafoe, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Karen Khachanov, Holger Rune, Lorenzo Musetti, and Matteo Berrettini.

Djokovic is a living legend of the sport.  By winning the title in Geneva this year Djokovic is now the first man in the Open Era to win a title in 20 different seasons, from 2006 to 2025. Having held the ATP World No.1 ranking for a record 428 weeks over 13 years and finishing as the year-end No.1 a record eight times — Djokovic has cemented himself as arguably the greatest tennis player in tennis history. Djokovic’s legacy across the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic also proceeds him, having competed in the tournament regularly since 2022.

Djokovic is scheduled to face Khachanov on Friday, 27 June, following a match between Musetti and Tsitsipas. Making his debut at the event, Tsitsipas arrives with a solid track record on the ATP Tour. Currently ranked inside the world’s top 30, the Greek player is a two-time Grand Slam finalist and has multiple ATP titles to his name. British No. 1 Jack Draper is also set to take on World No. 8 Holger Rune in what is expected to be a closely watched match.

Now in its 31st edition, the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic continues to combine world-class tennis with British elegance, hosted at one of the UK’s most exclusive members’ clubs. As title partner for the fourth consecutive year, Giorgio Armani brings signature style and sophistication to this unique sporting event.

Alongside the legends and ATP top talent, the returning Junior Invitational is building on the success of previous years, now expanding the field to 12 of the top juniors in the world. Players confirmed who will be looking to get some competitive grass court matches play ahead of the Wimbledon Juniors include, British No.2 Mark Ceban, World No.5 Kristina Penickova, World No.6 Jagger Leach and World No.19 Annika Penickova.

Tournament Director, Nikhil Waugh said: “With the event just around the corner, we’re pleased to welcome additional high-calibre players to the lineup. Djokovic’s return is particularly notable, and we look forward to another successful edition of the tournament.”

Attendees will have exclusive access to the pristine grounds of The Hurlingham Club, ATP singles matches featuring top ranked players and a legends doubles match. Guests will also be treated to complimentary Whispering Angel rosé and other wines, cocktails, beers, and soft drinks from the comfort of a reserved grandstand seat.

A handful of tickets are still available for Saturday and for hospitality across select weekdays. Visit https://www.giorgioarmanitennisclassic.com/the-experience to book your courtside seat.
